    I started  taking out from Grove BBQ since 2014. Love the thick French fries and fresh rice. The flavor of the chicken is out of this world, but my very favorite are the Ribs. If I order a half order of ribs they give me 3 pieces, If I say I want them "well done" the ribs are actually well done. I love how the flavor sticks to the bone of the ribs. Never a disappointment  at Grove BBQ.
    Ordering wise, even if I call ahead I still have to wait when I Get there which is understandable because they are always busy. Specially if it's on the weekends.
    So even though Grove is my to go place today I ended up ordering from the BBQ on South Plainfield and I wasn't happy at all. Hated everything...
    French fries were meh, rice so so... but the ribs were horrible (no flavor, and not cook well) What a disappointment.
    From here to now I will always order from Grove!!!!!

    Terrible service, order half a chicken you get 3 pieces. They only put 2 wings and a drumstick, you call and ask for a manager they say he's not in until 9pm then 5 minutes later he's there to talk to you. No where near worth the money you'll spend. I've been going here since it's opened because I live in town and witnessed it go right down the drain, i wouldn't waste money here ever again.

    I had a taste for garlic shrimp and rice and this place was recommended to try. I called in my order of garlic shrimp, rice and fries and when I got there the lady told me they did not accept debit or credit. This is a CASH ONLY establishment. They did however have an atm, I still was a little annoyed by this because I had to pay the atm fee. To be honest them not accepting cards is the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.
    The food was really good.had MORE than enough because it was prepared in a humongous aluminum tray. I was expecting a personal plate and got enough to feed 4 people cost me $18.xx after tax. Not bad

    Firstly, the food is good but after dealing with the ladies behind the counter--they lost my business. It's very unfortunate. My hope is that these women get a few lessons with customer service/soft skills.

    If you don't mind the attitude....order ahead!

    This is my new go to place for fresh, hot off the natural charcoal grill, Portuguese style chicken. I couldn't make it in time for a neighbor's party, so I stopped here. Good decision. All the guests at my neighbor's party loved the chicken, fries and rice. Place is spotless. Meats look amazing. Desserts as well.
    Customers coming and going in such volume you know that it must be good.
    Cash only but they have an ATM.
    We'll be back
